58 Days.....

Well the wedding plans are coming along... Jakes sister Jennica just got married this past week, pictures to come, and the reality just set in that "WE" are next. When we were sitting in the sealing, Jake's uncle kept leaning over telling us that there was some extra time.. and we could just get married now.. Since a lot of family was already here.... except mine of course....Yeah, that thought scared me...
Jake wanted to set up a website, so friends and family could all just go to the site and get all the details and give there address for the invites.
There are some details still to come...

The RAGNAR

Last weekend, Jake ran the Ragnar on a team of 12 people. The course started from Logan, Utah and ended up in Park City, Utah, a grand total of 192 miles. Each runner ran between 13-20 miles, with Jake running about 16 miles. Their team finished with a time of about 29 hours. The BYU ultra cross country team (ultra with only 6 runners), finished in like 16 hours. That's insane!

I meeted him at the Finish Line...

Just the Beginning...

So one of my good friends Ashley took a bunch of engagements of Jake and I.... We went to three different locations... and I was dead set on this "pink" wall. I LOVE pink, and it's one of my colors for the wedding... so of course I would have to have a picture in front of it!!!!

Many more to come....

Zions National Park & Las Vegas

Last week we were supposed to spend a whole blissful week in Lake Powell... 90 degree weather.... warm water... Boating, beach and camping all week....We have been excited for months! However, Jake showed up at my place a little late and I just had that gut feeling that it wasn't going to happen. The boat apparently had some major issues and wasn't going to be fixed till Thursday. Needless to say, we were all kinda bummed. There was going to be like 10 of us going, so people already had the time off from work. So, we decided to go camping and hiking in Zions for a day... and then head off to Las Vegas, since Jake's sister had free hotel credit.
We were planning on going to Lake Mead, which is right outside of Vegas with the jetski we brought down... But, Mandalay Bay had a sweet pool/beach at the hotel... and we all didn't think it was even worth it to go out. The pool had a wave pool, so you could ride the waves as if you were at a real beach... plus the beach sand... and a lazy river....and 95 degree HOT sun :) It was a perfect week in the sun!!!

We also were able to go to a show, The Lion King. I loved it! My friend was able to give us half off tickets because she works for MGM, so we were able to get really good seats as well!

Such a great show!

The lighting was really bad, so it's kinda hard to see... but we went to the Shark Aquarium in the Mandalay Bay as well.. It was a pretty sweet exhibit.

Here are the rest of the pictures from our random trip :)
