Kelsey's Wedding

My friend Kelsey got married last month, and she had her Utah reception up at the Joseph Smith building. It was so great to see her and catch up. I haven't seen her in years! It was a big Utah/Connecticut reunion. It's amazing how many of my friends have all migrated out to Utah from Connecticut. Unfortunately, Kelsey loves NYC too much!

Salt Lake Temple

Jake and I went to the Salt Lake Temple last week to do baptisms with the Laurels. It's such a pretty temple. It was a really neat experience to be able to go with the girls, and see the excitement on there faces as well. We absolutely love this temple, and hopefully we can do a session sooner than later :)

My new Clubs!

Happy Mothers Day to me :) Even though I am not a mom yet, Jake surprised me with PINK golf clubs! I was so excited. Jake and I love to go golfing... and I would actually consider myself not that bad of a player. It's really fun going with Jake and his friends.. I still haven't found a girl that likes to go yet :)

It was a little strange for me to celebrate Mother's Day, especially since we have no children.. But, I will take gifts like these any day :) My mother in law got PINK golf balls to go with them... They are so cute I don't think I can even take them out of the box!!!! I absolutely love them, and there is actually pink on the clubs, NOT just the bag :) Super excited here!

Emma's Baby Blessing

Jake and I had the chance to drive down to Arizona for Emma's baby blessing. It was so great to see family and catch up with Sean before he leaves for Iraq, for a year. We loved seeing baby Emma, and seeing all her amazing progress. She is doing awesome! My parents were able to come out as well, and it was great seeing them! My mom is still my all time favorite pool buddie :)

Happy Birthday Jake!

Happy Birthday to the funniest, smartest, most hard working husband a girl could ask for! A year ago today started a journey I never thought was possible for me... Jake graduated from USU with his Masters, turned 30, planned a surprise birthday/engagement party all in one day! It was a crazy and hectic day, but it was definitely a day we are going to always remember for the rest of our lives.

This year for Jakes birthday we were unfortunately driving back from Arizona all day. Jake hasn't been to the Grand Canyon since he was a little boy, so on our way back we took a little detour through the Grand Canyon.
