Joseph Smith Memorial

My family and I had the chance to go to the Joseph Smith Memorial in Sharon, Vermont.

They set up all these pretty Christmas lights, so you were able to drive right through... Which is a HUGE bonus since it was FREEZING.

Winter Wonderland

This was supposed to be a "Let's dare someone else to walk outside in the snow, without any shoes on..." But somehow Erin got conned into doing this with Michelle. Burr!!

My First Experience ever with the Sewing Machine!!

Well... it only took months for me to finally complete this huge project. But I did it! The goal was to finish it before my parents got to Utah...and time passed...they came and left... My parents got me a sewing machine for an early Birthday present, so I had no excuses now. But I always managed to find them...(**the boyfriend being a big one**) Then being without a job for a month, I had literally "No" excuses now. Then I found a job, and really told myself I HAD to finish this before I started into the real world again. So Here it is....

Not only did I sew all those little jean squares and fabric together, I also tied each corner with green yarn. All the jean squares are actually all my old jeans that I didn't wear or like anymore. It looks good! However, don't look at my borders.. That's where I truly struggled..

If anyone is considering making this kind of blanket.... please rethink your hobbies :)

Utah jazz vs. LA Lakers

Lakers vs. Jazz. It was a really good game... However, Lakers didn't really do so hot... The crowd was booing Kobe, and the Lakers... It was kind of a let down.

BYU vs. University of Utah

BYU WON, 17-10

It was a very very intense game. Not only were the U fans obnoxious, but we came back in the last minute! The fans rushed onto the field when we won, and we sent the U fans home walking!

Kelly's Married!

Believe it! Kelly Anderson is officially married, and she looked amazing! It was so good seeing her and all her family...along with a few old Connecticut friends!

Katie and Kai are Married! They got married at the Salt Lake Temple..and luckily, Utah weather was good to us that day... The snow didn't come till Saturday afternoon! Here's all the friends that were able to come to the temple, right after they got married. Lauren and Shayna were also 2 of the other bridesmaids.

Jon Schmidt Concert

Jon Schmidt concert up at Thanksgiving Point, in the Gardens. He was an amazing piano player! He not only played with his toes, but he layed on the bench, with his head underneath the piano and actually still managed to play! Amazing!

A Day at the Hogle Zoo

Jake and I's first "official" date as a couple! I, of course, was still hesitant about the whole thing.. I needed time... to think EVERYTHING out... but I think I always knew deep down I liked him...

 Just having fun....This gorilla was in high demand at the zoo.. I had to wait my turn..

Despite being sick...We both had a great time! And, I think it's the first time that Jake ever made any physical contact with me... Meaning, he might have actually touched my arm.... :) 

The Spider Monkeys were probably my favorite...You should have seen them climb the fences...

BYU Football Game

It was my first BYU Football game. WHOA! Is all I can say... I was tempted to wear a red shirt... but then when I was walking to the game, and realized everyone looked like a clone...I probably would have been jumped in the parking lot... BYU won! But it was WAY to Hot! Needless to say, I was sitting down a lot!

Boating on Utah Lake

Sweet Hook-ups! Friends of ours had two boats, so we went boating on Utah Lake. However, we had a few injuries...a girl sliced her lip open really bad, and ran to the ER... and another kid got a stinger... where his arms were numb, and he eventually passed out.. It was a crazy trip, but a lot of fun!!! Michelle and I...

You Party!!! Michelle and Hayley planned a very extravagent dinner when I came home from work... which included.. Sausage with some kind of glaze, artichokes, teriaki chicken with an alcohol flavoring, margaritas, beer bread, and a lot of fun times!!! Don't worry Dad, all the alcohol gets cooked off!

Wedding Season

August is Wedding Season # 2 in Utah. A bunch of good friends and I went to Heidi's Wedding at the Rose Garden. Beautiful place, and amazing food! Chocolate fountain is the way to go is all I am going to say....

Kamas Demolition Derby

I went to the Kamas Demolition Derby with Dan, the Australian, and some of his friends. Geffrey, Australian friend, and wife Lindsay were sitting to my right. I think the whole town of Kamas came out for this... they look forward to it every year!

This car completely flipped over when the cars came crashing at each other! It was insane!

Yes.. Imagine this. Power Puff Derby! Who are these girls driving these cars!

I don't know how this is a sport! Going full speed and ramming into junk cars, until their car doesn't move anymore!

Nephi Rodeo and Carnival

A bunch of friends and I went down to the Nephi Rodeo and Carnival in Nephi, Utah. The Rodeo was a lot of fun, but I think what topped it off was the Carnival...and being able to act like a kid all over again!

Mark, Dan and I went on this crazy ride! Very intense! I was hanging upside down in my seat, and swore I was dead..hoping that screaming on the top of my lungs would make it all go away!
