Driving in style...

So admist all of my trials lately... being laid off and now out of a job... then getting evicted from my place in Orem because they were going through foreclosure....you think things couldn't get worse, but it always somehow manages to! The same week this all happened, my car was rear ended last week, by one of my friends in my ward...A little awkward...I know, talk about bad luck. But after today, I consider myself to be an extremely lucky girl. It could have been so much worse... I might never have found a great place to live the same week I needed to move... and my boss would never have given me a 200 dollar spending spree to the mall, as a farewell gift...Talk about lovin' every minute of that one! AND, it gets better!

So, I went and had my bumper looked at today, and sadly enough I was praying to get a new bumper, as long as it wasn't going to cost my friend a lot... She didn't do to much damage, but did gash it up a little. The woman I bought the car from completely killed the bumper... I am determined she took a garden fork and just hit it a few times, and then proceeded to scrape the paint off! So after sitting in the waiting room for a bit, Cascade Collision came back telling me that they were not only going to fix the part that she hit, but they were going to repair the whole bumper and make it look completely new. AT NO COST for me! Let me repeat myself, fix my WHOLE bumper at NO cost to me!!!! Talk about work my magic, it must have been my new hot jeans I got with my shopping spree! When I was buying my car two years ago I almost didn't buy my car because of this ugly bumper, and now it's going to be practically brand new. The day has finally come when someone hit me and fixed it for me! I can stop praying someone rear end me now ;) jk

AND, I get to roll around in style.. this is my rental car for a day or so... 4 door jeep wrangler!
This is where I live...most likely temporary, but we shall see where the job takes me :)
Also, Lesson Learned today.. never park next to old people, sorry dad, new drivers, beaters, bigger people who can't get out of there car (no offense)....the repair shop informed me all the gashes on the passenger side of my car are from people door dinging my car! I was absolutely mortified... Good thing they are giving me the leftover paint to fix those! I could not believe it! There was probably 10-15 marks from people hitting my car!!! So Dad, this is my public apology for always getting mad at you for parking in Texas...I will now be parking in France.

#1 I am LOVING the fact that you have old school BSpears as your number one song right now..very appropriate

#2 What a tragic post. I was cringing with pity for you until you got a shopping spree and your ugly bumper finally fixed!
